Breakfast Club
There is a breakfast club available from 8.30am on all days of the week, for regular or occasional use.
We will endeavour to accomodate any specific requirements you may have; the fee will vary accordingly. Please see staff for details.

Fees
Rhiwderin Village Meithrin is a registered provider of Nursery education for Newport City Council.
Pre-school children are funded by the local authority and are therefore not required to pay fees.
3 year olds are also funded for the terms after their third birthday.
Please note that even if your child is absent fees are still payable.
Welsh Government 30 hours of free childcare Scheme
We are also registered under the Welsh Government scheme to provide 30 hours of free childcare to those families who meet the criteria.

As a provider of early years education, Rhiwderin Village Meithrin promotes knowledge, skills and understanding as outlined by the Welsh Assembly Government. Seven areas of learning are identified, and the desirable outcomes within them. These areas are:

Activities
Water and sand play, art and craft, table games and jigsaws, dough, small-world and imaginative play, cooking, physical and outdoor play, stories and songs are all part of our activities.
No two days are the same!
For children approaching school age, language and number skills are developed further, in line with Government guidance.
Written reports are given at the end of the pre-school year.
We have an open door policy and parents are welcome to discuss their childs progress at any time
